Legal Operations Manager - Remote

We are seeking a Legal Operations Manager to review and negotiate commercial contracts, primarily SaaS agreements and software licenses, and support our general counsel on a range of other corporate legal matters, including M&A due diligence.


This role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to pioneer the next frontier in sports and contribute to the continued rapid growth of one of the fastest-growing companies in sports tech and analytics. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, redline and negotiate technology-related commercial contracts, primarily SaaS agreements, software and data licenses, and data processing agreements.

  • Coordinate with sales and operations teams on customer contracting processes, including by evaluating proposed contract revisions against internal standards.

  • Own and maintain progress tracking as it relates to the contract redline lifecycle. 

  • Analyze commercial contracts and IP licenses in connection with M&A due diligence and evaluate risks.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of Teamworks’ day-to-day functions and its products, services and technology as each relate to legal operations.

  • Assist with capitalization recordkeeping and corporate documentation for global subsidiaries.

  • Review regulatory compliance documents for government contracts and data transfers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Law degree preferred. 

  • 2-5+ years of relevant experience, ideally with some gained at a business-to-business software provider or other technology company.

  • Software licensing experience, including with B2B SaaS products and data platforms.

The pay range for this role is:
