Senior Technical Product Manager - Location Flexible

We are looking for a proactive, thorough Technical Product Manager with software engineering experience to lead the Platform team at Teamworks. The role involves leading our internal integrations team, focusing on building a software platform that stitches together 12+ existing products to deliver a cohesive and integrated Teamworks experience. This team, while focused on integrating internal products in the near-term, will also keep an eye towards external integrators and partners, to design the platform for these not-so-distant-future use cases. The person in this role will collaborate with customers and teammates to strategize, create and optimize a unified Teamworks experience across all products along with how non-Teamworks products can join the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Sales and Marketing, to develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Utilize your software engineering experience to provide technical expertise and insights during product planning, development and delivery phases.

  • Work closely with Engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and ensure successful product delivery.

  • Own the product roadmap, gather product requirements, and translate customer needs into product capabilities through backlog grooming, rigorous prioritization and collaboration.

  • Track progress, assess risks, coordinate delivery, and actively communicate contingency and mitigation plans for the team.

  • Work with stakeholders on go-to-market strategy and execution through excellent communication and planning. 


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical product management role

  • 2+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of developing and delivering software products.

  • Experience defining product vision and translating it into actionable roadmaps. 

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience driving cross-functional teams to ship features on aggressive timelines.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision-making.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience working with remote teams or distributed workforce is a plus.
