Backend Engineering Intern

We're seeking a dynamic Intern Backend Engineer eager to contribute to our industry-leading platform. As part of our collaborative team, you'll be able to assist in developing scalable web and mobile applications impacting athletes at every level.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and the development of new modules
  • Assist in maximizing team productivity through proactive collaboration
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable applications
  • Understand and use internal software tools.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks.

Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exposure to Python API development
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry)
  • Exposure to modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
  • Experience in TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Understanding of modern web development security principles
