Key Responsibilities:

• Migration: Assist in the end-to-end process of migrating workloads from Amazon EKS to Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Infrastructure Optimization: Assist the team to optimize Kubernetes clusters for production environments, considering scalability, security, and operational best practices.
• AWS Expertise: Leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.) to integrate Kubernetes with the cloud environment seamlessly.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align infrastructure goals with organizational objectives.
• Documentation & Training: Create clear documentation and provide training to internal teams to ensure ongoing support and maintenance of the new Kubernetes infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (certifications like CKAD or CKA are a plus).
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services and best practices.
  • Proven track record of leading complex migrations or projects.
• Tools & Technologies:
• • CI/CD platforms (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).
• Leadership Skills:
• • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with service meshes (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and container orchestration patterns.
• Familiarity with security practices for Kubernetes and cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
