TeleMed2U, a provider services organization, is seeking a strategically minded Data Analyst to support its growing need for high quality data reporting, analytics, and visualizations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding healthcare services company with a focus on delivering consistent, accurate, and automated market insights, and clinical outcomes. 

 

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Data Analyst will play a key role in understanding current client and potential client needs; helping to define and measure KPIs, clinical quality metrics (e.g., HEDIS, STARS), patient/member satisfaction, total cost of care and overall value. The analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders and the Chief Revenue Officer to ensure reporting aligns with contractual commitments, client expectations, market demands, and strategic goals. 

 

 

Data Analysis & Reporting 

  • Analyze healthcare revenue data, patient/member engagement metrics, and operational KPIs to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.  
  • Build and maintain summary dashboards and raw data reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL to track performance across health plans, specialties, and clients.  
  • Take ownership of existing client reporting needs, including automating current manual reports and expanding standardized reporting to all health plan partners; includes formatting reports and generating actionable insights so they are available to Sales & Account Management for immediate external use. 
  • Develop and maintain quarterly revenue analyses by customer and specialty, including metrics on payer mix, gross margin %, and reimbursement trends to inform contracting and rate negotiations.  
  • Partner with the Sales & Business Development team to create automated referring provider reports, identifying referral volume by clinic, specialty, and payer, in addition to establishing workflows for upload into HubSpot for CSM follow-up.  
  • Generate data to support pipeline management, including identification of new referring clinics and tracking referral conversion metrics.  
  • Prepare provider roster data requests, data points for marketing collateral, and ad hoc analyses as needed to support client deliverables and leadership initiatives.  
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define dashboards and clinical outcomes reporting (e.g., A1C, PHQ9/GAD7, BP) and design scalable data pipelines for future-state initiatives such as treatment duration and patient/member retention analytics.  
  • Leverage expertise in working with medical and Rx claims data to support key insights and attribution related to TeleMed2U’s direct impact on medical cost savings (e.g., ED visits and readmissions). 

 

Business Analysis 

  • Collaborate with IT and product teams to define product requirements, definitions, and future state workflows.  
  • Attend and present as part of client and prospective client meetings as needed, as the data analytics expert. 
  • Document business processes and work collaboratively to identify areas where business and patient/member outcomes can be improved.  
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing healthcare software platforms and measuring their impact on improving business operations and patient/member outcomes.  
  • Conduct gap analyses and recommend improvements aligned with revenue and sales goals.  

 

 

Required 

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business analysis (healthcare preferred).  
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and PowerBI or equivalent data analysis and visualization tools.  
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and compliance standards (HIPAA, HL7, SOC2, NIST, HITRUST, etc.).  
  • Understanding of healthcare quality standards such as HEDIS, CMS eCQM, STARS, etc.  
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.  
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement 

 

Preferred 

  • Knowledge of healthcare business operations, especially health plans and payors.  
  • Knowledge of healthcare clinical operations, especially health plans and payors. 
  • Experience with tools like Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, or similar enterprise information systems.
