About the role
- California Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) needed for the 2025-2026 school year
- Position will be in-person only
- School-based caseload with optional private clinic hours
Qualifications
- Active California SLP-A License (Required)
- Demonstrated Experience Working with Children, ideally within school environments
- Excellent Communication, Organization, and Collaboration Skills
- Fingerprint Background Clearance – Required for school compliance and student safety

What you'll do
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to clients in a school or clinic setting, under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Support clients with developmental disabilities using evidence-based practices tailored to educational and/or clinical environments.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP.
- Track and document client performance during sessions, reporting progress and concerns to the supervising SLP.
- Prepare engaging, age-appropriate therapy materials and maintain an organized therapy space within the school and/or clinic environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support carryover of speech and language goals into the classroom.
- Adjust therapy approaches as needed, in collaboration with the SLP, to meet individual student needs and educational goals.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support therapy outcomes
- Adhere to ethical guidelines, state licensure regulations, and school protocols relevant to SLPA practice.
