Role Overview 

We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Communications Corporate Affairs to join our Commercial and Corporate Affairs team. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Affairs, you will independently manage and lead commercial communications, including product launches. This position requires strategic thinking, project management skills, and experience with recent product launches. You will develop and execute communications plans to achieve commercial team objectives and field force engagement, and to ensure alignment of corporate messaging and materials with field communications.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Creative and digitally savvy candidate with product communications experience
  • Deep experience in bringing multi-platform, insight driven communications program to life – from data communications to branded campaigns, as well as disease state awareness and thought leadership programs that educate and empower patient and healthcare professionals.
  • Lead programs to effectively reach key stakeholders, implementing innovative approaches to media, digital/social, and strategic partnerships and influencers/content creators
  • Manage product communications around medical congresses, including press release development, media strategy, and field force engagement, and to and outreach
  • Manage product launch communications for the company’s first approved product
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams – including but not limited to Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal – for collaboration on disease/brand awareness, launch preparedness
  • Anticipate and effectively respond to potential issues
  • Work with the Corporate Affairs team to support internal and external reputation efforts
  • Manage and work collaboratively with agency partners and associated resources/budget
  • Comfort in data communications and translating science into meaningful messages for external audiences
  • Ability to work as an independent, self-starter with urgency and a results-oriented mindset
  • Confidence to work effectively with employees from all levels of the organization
  • Serve as a strategic counselor to internal stakeholders, and add value to ideas.
  • Ability to attend and support medical conferences in person

Experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ years in commercial or corporate communications
  • Experience working remotely
  • Product Launch experience in the past 5 years
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled multitasker, manages deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
