Role Overview 


We are seeking a Vice President of Patient Services and Trade to join our commercial team. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the VP of Patient Services & Trade will be responsible for establishing and managing all aspects of trade relations and patient support programs for BRIMOCHOL™ PF. This role requires a leader who can think strategically while being hands-on in building scalable operations. The VP will manage relationships with major wholesalers and distribution partners while simultaneously developing a best-in-class patient support program that drives treatment adherence and reduces physician burden.


Key Responsibilities 


Trade Management:

        Develop and execute trade strategy for product distribution through major wholesalers, e-pharmacy partners, and specialty distribution channels

        Oversee supply chain analytics and inventory planning to ensure optimal product availability across all channels

        Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and contract manufacturing organizations

        Partner with outsourced laboratory services providers for product testing and quality management

        Build and manage analytics capabilities to monitor trade performance, inventory levels, and distribution efficiency

        Coordinate with commercial manufacturing to manage the handoff from production to distribution channels

Patient Services:

        Design and implement a comprehensive patient support program for a cash-pay treatment model

        Develop proactive patient education and support resources addressing common side effects

        Create scalable communication strategies utilizing clinical trial data and label-compliant patient information

        Build high-touch patient support capabilities to address patient questions and concerns during treatment initiation

        Develop patient retention and refill optimization programs to drive long-term therapy adherence

        Implement patient segmentation models to identify high-risk patients requiring additional support

        Design high-service patient journey programs that enhance patient experience and reduce physician callbacks

        Partner with physician practices to communicate patient support offerings and reduce practice burden

        Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Marketing teams

        Manage vendor relationships and evaluate build-vs-buy decisions for key capabilities


Experience 

        Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, or relevant field) preferred

        12+ years of biotechnology industry experience with progressive leadership roles

        Proven experience building and scaling patient services or trade operations from the ground up

        Demonstrated success in startup or early-stage commercial organizations

        Strong understanding of pharmaceutical distribution channels, wholesaler relationships, and/or trade operations

       Experience developing patient support programs, preferably in specialty pharmaceutical or cash-pay models

        Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships
