Who We Are
Tensure is a platform engineering consultancy built for financial services. We help banks, fintechs, lenders, insurers, and wealth management firms ship better software faster — by building world-class developer platforms that let their engineering teams focus on code, not on navigating tribal knowledge. We’re clever and pragmatic but we also embrace the magic that happens when personality collides with technical excellence. Because ultimately, innovation isn’t boring (and neither are we).
Where You'll Come In
Tensure is in the middle of a defining moment. We’ve spent the last year sharpening our focus from a broad tech consultancy into a FinServ-focused platform engineering firm. The new positioning, messaging, and website are built — and now we need someone to take it all to market.
We’re not looking for someone to write a five-year brand strategy. We need a tactically sharp marketer who can take our repositioning and turn it into campaigns, content, events, and pipeline — starting now. You’ll own the hands-on execution of our go-to-market as a newly focused company, while building the marketing function around it.
You’ll manage a roster of specialized vendors (design, content, paid media, etc.) and be the connective tissue between our leadership, sales team, and the market. Within the first year, you’ll likely bring on a direct report, with a roadmap to grow the team as the function matures.
If you’ve ever wanted to own the marketing moment where a company steps into a new identity — this is it.
What you'll do
Go-to-Market Execution
- Lead the tactical rollout of Tensure’s repositioning as a FinServ-focused platform engineering firm — the new website and messaging are built, and you’ll take them to market
- Build the campaign infrastructure and supporting assets (pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, sales enablement materials, landing pages) that bring the new positioning to life
- Coordinate the launch across channels so the market hears a single, clear story
Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth
- Work with our paid media agency to build and execute demand generation programs targeting financial services decision-makers (engineering leaders, CTOs, VPs of Platform, Heads of Infrastructure)
- Develop and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, paid, organic, events) with clear attribution and ROI tracking
- Partner closely with Sales to align marketing efforts with revenue goals and priority accounts in banking, payments, lending, insurance, and wealth management
Content Marketing & Thought Leadership
- Define and execute a content strategy that positions Tensure as the go-to platform engineering partner for financial services
- Collaborate with engineers, Solutions Architects, and Practice Directors to turn deep FinServ and platform engineering expertise into compelling thought leadership (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, webinars)
- Develop content that speaks credibly to the intersection of regulatory compliance, security, and modern developer experience
Website & Digital Presence
- Own the company website post-launch — optimize for SEO, conversion, and lead capture as the new positioning hits the market
- Continuously refine our digital presence to reflect Tensure’s evolving work and wins in the FinServ platform engineering space
- Monitor and report on site performance, traffic trends, and lead conversion metrics
Social Media & Community
- Develop and manage Tensure’s social media presence, with a focus on LinkedIn and relevant FinServ and engineering communities
- Build engagement strategies that amplify our people, our expertise, and our point of view on platform engineering in regulated industries
- Support employer branding efforts to attract top-tier engineering and consulting talent
Events & Partnerships
- Plan and execute events — both virtual and in-person — including webinars, roundtables, sponsorships, and FinServ industry conferences
- Identify and cultivate co-marketing opportunities with technology partners (AWS, Azure, GCP) and FinServ ecosystem players
- Represent Tensure at industry events and help our leadership team do the same
Vendor & Team Management
- Source, manage, and hold accountable a network of specialized vendors and freelancers (design, copywriting, paid media, video, etc.)
- Build processes and playbooks that make the marketing function repeatable and scalable
- Hire and mentor your first direct report within the first year, with a vision for growing the team over time
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in B2B technology or professional services
- Proven experience building or significantly scaling a marketing function — not just inheriting a mature team
- Strong demand generation chops — you know how to build pipeline, not just brand awareness
- Experience managing external vendors, agencies, and freelancers to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can write a compelling case study and present a campaign strategy to leadership with equal confidence
- Data-driven mindset with experience in marketing analytics, attribution, and reporting
- Comfort operating as both a strategist and an executor — you’re not above rolling up your sleeves
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Background working with technology partner ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP)
