Where You'll Come In

We are looking for a talented Lead DevOps Engineer. They work with developers to deploy and manage code changes, and with operations staff to ensure that systems are up and running smoothly. To be successful in this role, a DevOps engineer must have a deep understanding of both development and operations processes, as well as a strong technical background.

What you'll do

  • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
  • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
  • Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
  • Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
  • Incidence management and root cause analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • You must be located in Greater Chennai. Tensure offers a hybrid work environment, so you will need to be situated in the Greater Chennai area to work at the office three days a week.
  • Working knowledge of various tools, kubernetes, terraform, database management, git, etc., and cloud services (GCP or AWS)
  • Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
  • Excellent troubleshooting
  • Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
  • Nice to have - Experience with Jenkins
