Where You'll Come In
Tensure is growing quickly and we are looking for a Business Development Representative with a passion for technology that's located within 2 hours of the Cincinnati Metropolitan area. We deliver solutions that help customers transform and accelerate business outcomes through digital innovation and software infrastructure. Tensure is a Google Cloud Partner and is looking to continue driving growth within the GCP ecosystem.
By advocating the power of our solutions, you will act as a liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients.
What you'll do
Establishing contact with identified leads by phone, email and social media and monitoring progress
Being a hunter, willing to make 100+ phone calls every day
Qualifying leads and sharing relevant marketing and/or sales materials to develop the lead
Providing a strong lead and hand-off to the Sales Executive team
Partnering with our marketing team to develop sales opportunities for the Sales Executives
Staying current with major public cloud news, trends and hot topics
Supporting the Sales Executive team in monitoring and sharing relevant thought leadership, client and marketplace news, and Cloud relevant materials
Proposing ideas for the Sales team to connect with targets, including customization of Tensure Sales materials and distribution of relevant thought-leadership to key stakeholder
Requirements
1 - 2 years of professional sales experience
Must be located within 2 hours of the Cincinnati Metropolitan area
Exceptional relationship building/relationship management skills to establish rapport, trust and confidence with sales teams, and clients
Excellent written and oral communications skills and interpersonal skills
Experience in Google suite, CRMs and Sales Engagement platforms
Quick learner with high energy and creative problem-solving skills
Detail oriented, ability to adapt to changing environment
Energetic, enthusiastic, and organized
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while being a team player

Base salary for this position: $45,000-$52,000 base - OTE $83,400-$109,600
