Where You'll Come In
We are looking for candidates who can build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL ‘big data’ technologies.
What you'll do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support our data warehouse infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
Perform data modeling to design and optimize database structures for performance and efficiency.
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Work with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure)
Monitor and optimize data processes for reliability, scalability, and performance.
Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- You must be located in Greater Chennai. Tensure offers a hybrid work environment, so you will need to be situated in the Greater Chennai area to work at the office three days a week.
Strong proficiency in data modeling concepts and technologies. Experience with ETL processes and tools.
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and specifically BigQuery.
Experience with programming languages such as Python.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
