Where You'll Come In


We are seeking an Operations / HR Team Leader for the India based portion of our Global Operations Team. This role will lead and mentor on all aspects of Operations, from human resources practices and processes, payroll, recruitment, team engagement, AP/AR and benefits. For us, the Operations Team is the primary point of contact for all employee-related matters. In this role, your responsibilities will include leading the above mentioned aspects with help and guidance from the Global Operation Team. We operate as a unified team, but this role will ensure all India specific aspects of Operations, such as compliance, are done.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for delivering strategies and experiences that span a broad range of crucial people functions, such as benefits, onboarding talent, training and development, culture and values, leadership development, employee compensation, compliance, and team engagement
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
  • Ensure employee benefits administration, including enrollment, claims, and communication is correct and complete
  • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other monthly deductions
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related issues, concerns, and conflicts. Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner. Manage escalation, proactively identify issues, and provide resolutions
  • Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the company’s values and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR; MBA in HR preferred.
  • 8+ years of HR experience with strong leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proven expertise in recruitment,compliance, and employee engagement.
  • Be as comfortable talking to the C-suite as dropping off laptops for repairs
  • Base Location: Chennai (Guindy) - Hybrid - 3 days in the office
