About the role
As a Provider Data Management Specialist for Texicare, you will work within our Operations organization and collaborate with our Network team and providers to ensure high quality provider data. You will be part of a dynamic and passionate team that is transforming the health insurance industry by offering innovative and affordable products and services to small businesses in Texas.
In this role, you will:
Support Texicare’s growth and expansion through managing provider data management processes including file preparation, provider roster loads, quality and accuracy assurance, and data analytics
Compile, maintain, and analyze provider and hospital fee schedules and perform the loading of provider data into the repricing platform
Translate business requirements into actionable reports by preparing, analyzing, and ensuring data accuracy which support Texicare growth initiatives, state requirements, and/or business needs
Analyze and reconcile provider rosters, as well as other sources of provider data, when applicable by building functional reports while ensuring data accuracy
Resolve provider data issues in a timely and professional manner in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Manage multiple concurrent reporting initiative with critical deadlines, while working within established processes and identifying improvement opportunities
Communicate clearly with ownership on all aspects of provider data management with internal partners across Operations, Network, Compliance, and others, as appropriate
Proactively identify complex problems; identify, propose, and implement solutions in a deadline driven environment
Continuously validate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to provider data loading and accuracy, providing regular reports and cross-functional insights to leadership
To be successful in this role, you should have:
3-5 years of experience in the health insurance industry
3-5 years of experience and knowledge of Provider Data Services systems and other end user applications preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, operations, project management, or related field or equivalent experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a remote environment with quarterly travel to corporate headquarters in Austin, TX
