As a Senior Sales & Agency Support Specialist for Texicare, you will lead and enhance the support provided to our sales team and agents. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the Quoting, Appointment, and Implementation processes, ensuring quality assurance and compliance, and supporting the Sales & Agency Support Coordinators in their day-to-day tasks. You will also assist with larger projects and strategic initiatives, collaborate with other departments to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction, and support the sales team in the field at agent and client meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Quoting, Appointment, and Implementation processes, working closely with operations and underwriting to ensure quality assurance and compliance
- Support and assist with onboarding for all new groups and open enrollment meetings, ensuring a smooth and seamless process
- Manage inbound agent and employer leads from the website and distribute them to the sales team
- Develop and optimize Salesforce to support the Quoting, Appointment, and Implementation processes
- Track and report on key performance metrics to ensure sales support team goals are met
- Lead and manage special projects related to sales support, agent service, and account management, including:
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop sales tools, flyers, resources, and presentations for the sales team.
- Coordinating with marketing, product development, and customer service teams.
- Providing competitive analysis to help Sales Consultants and Account Executives position Texicare products effectively.
- Activating market events and sponsorships
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in sales support, account management, or a related field, preferably in the insurance industry
- Current health insurance license in Texas or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of health insurance products and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
