Position Summary:
As a Commercial Lines Account Specialist, you will provide support to Account Managers and Sales Advisors as it relates to the sale and service of commercial lines accounts. Specifically, you will play an important role in ensuring customer policies and documents are accurate and processed in a timely manner. Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide assistance with endorsements, cancellations, audits, and submissions.
- Check policy documents for accuracy in coverage, rating, premiums, fees, signatures, etc. and report inaccuracies for correction as appropriate.
- Provide documentation to clients, Account Managers, or Sales Advisors as needed and as requested. This may include policy documents, certificates, schedules, identification cards, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Property & Casualty insurance licenses preferred.
- Experience working in a customer service role.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is helpful but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of projects and tasks in an effective and timely manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Location & Flexible Work Options:
- This position is located in our Cedar Rapids. It also includes the opportunity for a hybrid or remote work arrangement upon successful completion of training.
