Retirement Plan Advisor

Position Summary


Responsible for the comprehensive sale and service of qualified retirement planning products and services to business clients. Expected to prospect for new business while maintaining existing business throughout the year.


Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in finance, personal wealth management, financial planning, or another related field, or an equivalent amount of relevant experience.


Securities licenses as appropriate to the position (i.e. Series 65, or Series 7 and 66).


Previous experience in qualified retirement planning preferred, but not required.


Knowledge of qualified retirement planning products and services.


A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a vehicle to meet with existing and prospective clients.


Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to have positive customer interactions and maintain positive customer relationships.


Excellent computer skills, including the ability to utilize Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel), web-based computer applications, and other agency management systems.


Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects or tasks, meet established deadlines, and change priorities as business needs require.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication.


The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, but also independently with minimal daily supervision.


The ability to utilize basic office equipment, such as a computer, keyboard, mouse, monitors, printer, copier, and scanner.
