Job Summary:
Project lead in charge of managing and organizing the order of maintenance. Leads a small team and assigns mechanics in that team to specific tasks on project aircraft. Can inspect work on the maintenance floor as a floor inspector (assigned Stamp).
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for inspecting, training personnel, and performing maintenance and modifications on TBM aircraft in a FAR part 145 environment.
Must be able to read, interpret and use manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring and system diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components.
Advise team members and solve maintenance problems by analysis and following approved methods of training.
Develop and maintain a cohesive and cooperative teamwork environment with all departments and employees.
Maintain knowledge of flight schedules and project statuses daily to ensure production schedules meet delivery dates.
Complete work orders, order aircraft parts, manage jobs with available billable time.
Ability to attend required training events on airframe, engines, and equipment
As an aircraft technician you must be capable of the following:
Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels.
Must have problem solving and organizational skills.
Must be able to read and understand Company and Manufacturer Manuals.
Must be able to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised at any time.
Must be able to lift and move items of 70 pounds or more on a regular basis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to bend and/or squat repeatedly and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work in and around an aviation hangar, and have knowledge of airport rules, including ramp and aircraft movement areas.
Working environment includes area of moving mechanical parts, equipment, and various chemicals.
Physical activity may require entering confined spaces.

Qualifications:
3+ years' experience (TBM)
5+ years GA maintenance experience
A&P Certification
Experience with Turbo Prop aircrafts (King Air, PC-12, or similar)
Posses adequate set of aircraft mechanic's hand tools
FAR Part 91, 135 or 145 experience
Must have ground run capability (will surrender ground run specialty pay)
Preferred Qualifications:
Pratt & Whitney PT6 engine experience
Floor inspector experience in a Part 121, 135 or 145 environment
IA Certification
Strong engine Rigging skills
Sheet metal skills
The pay range for this role is:
38 - 44 USD per hour (BJC)
