Purpose of the Role:

The Bright Hotel is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Sales to oversee sales strategies and revenue generation across multiple properties. This leadership role is responsible for driving top-line revenue, leading high-performing sales teams, and executing strategic initiatives to maximize market share and profitability. 

Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Team Development 

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage sales associates across multiple properties, ensuring alignment with brand standards and company values. 
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities for sales teams. 
  • Lead, direct, and motivate local sales teams to drive business and maximize revenue potential. 

Revenue & Business Development 

  • Develop and implement revenue strategies to optimize sales across all assigned properties. 
  • Collaborate with property-level sales and revenue teams to review short- and long-term revenue forecasts, identifying areas of opportunity and strategic improvements. 
  • Assist hotels in meeting and exceeding assigned revenue goals, including Rooms, F&B, Meeting Room Rental, and RevPAR Index. 
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities and implement strategies to improve profitability. 

Sales Strategy & Market Analysis 

  • Lead the creation of market-specific sales action plans and strategic initiatives. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and industry partners. 
  • Engage with local convention and tourism bureaus, business networks, and hotel partners to qualify opportunities and drive sales growth. 
  • Monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor performance, and customer insights to drive business expansion. 

Marketing & Promotions 

  • Oversee marketing efforts, including digital campaigns, SEO strategies, and email marketing, to drive direct bookings and revenue. 
  • Develop and execute property-wide sales promotions, special offers, and loyalty initiatives to attract new business and retain clients. 
  • Direct marketing communications efforts with an emphasis on leisure packaging, online engagement, and promotional campaigns. 
  • Performance Management & Reporting 
  • Oversee property sales production, ensuring alignment with company goals and revenue objectives. 
  • Prepare and manage annual sales and marketing plans and budgets, ensuring cost-effective spending and strong return on investment (ROI). 
  • Ensure the proper execution and implementation of company sales tools, CRM systems, and reporting processes. 

Collaboration & Operational Excellence 

  • Work closely with property General Managers and corporate leadership to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives. 
  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies and brand standards. 
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales organization. 
  • Oversee safe work practices and ensure adherence to company guidelines.

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced coursework in business administration, marketing, or hospitality management preferred. 
  • Proven experience in a multi-property sales leadership role within the hospitality industry. 
  • Strong background in revenue management, strategic planning, and business development. 
  • Experience in public relations and community marketing preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of independent and branded hotel sales strategies. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), CRM systems (Salesforce, Event Temple), and hospitality revenue management tools. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to travel as needed to support multiple properties.

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including during meetings, site visits, and client interactions.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (e.g., marketing materials, promotional displays, or event setups). 
  • Strong manual dexterity for using a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment. 
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed to access files, supplies, and marketing materials. 
  • Clear verbal communication and active listening abilities to effectively engage with clients, teams, and stakeholders. 
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and manage stress effectively. 


Minimum Qualifications:

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 

Experience: 

  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a multi-property or regional sales leadership role. 
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets across multiple properties. 
  • Experience developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans. 

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. 
  • Ability to analyze market trends, competitive performance, and customer insights to drive sales growth. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/sales platforms such as Salesforce, Event Temple, or similar tools. 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, SEO, and online sales channels is a plus.

Schedule / Travel Requirements:

  • Schedule: This is a full-time, remote position with a standard Monday–Friday schedule. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs, client meetings, or industry events. 
  • Travel: Must be able to travel as needed for site visits, client meetings, industry conferences, and on-site collaboration with hotel teams. Travel may include domestic flights and overnight stays as needed. 
  • Must have the ability to adapt to a flexible schedule to accommodate different time zones and business demands. 



The pay range for this role is:

120,000 - 130,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
