About the role


The Partner Marketing Specialist is tasked with working on behalf of a large global IT vendor in the cloud computing space. The Partner Marketing Specialist has the responsibility of serving as a trusted advisor and assumes a critical role in fortifying relationships within the partner network.

Our Partner Marketing Specialists are involved in a diverse range of activities. They engage in frequent communication, contribute to the strategic planning of campaigns, and oversee data management. They serve as a facilitator for growth, ensuring optimal performance in every interaction and campaign. Proficiency in a varied skill set is essential for success in this role, encompassing effective communication, collaborative aptitude, data comprehension, and strategic thinking. The Partner Marketing Specialist not only ensures the success of individual projects but also significantly contributes to the overall success of the client's extensive marketing initiatives.


What you'll do

  • Proactively managing partner communication; supporting reseller & distributor marketing campaign planning and execution
  • Supporting MDF (Market Development Fund) requests and claims including 3rd party agency management where appropriate and monitor ROI.
  • Working with partner and local sales & marketing teams to understand the solution focus and then take ownership of sourcing suitable materials provided by our client.
  • Monitoring leads and be accountable for supporting the end to end lead management process.
  • Day to day management of existing partner conversations with sales & marketing teams, ensuring they are informed, enabled and driving actions to support and grow our client’s revenues.
  • Creating and adapting data from a variety of data points to produce client ready reporting and analytics.
  • Creating marketing briefs for presentation and partner training.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English- Another language is a big plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Previous experience of working in a Marketing role.
  • Good knowledge of online (e.g. email marketing, SEO, social networks, display advertising) and offline Marketing campaign types (e.g. events, telemarketing, print advertising, sponsoring, incentives)
  • Excellent client liaison skills, ability to react and respond in a timely and effective manner
  • Strong MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills with the ability to present information in a consistent and professional manner.
  • The ability to grow relationships and becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Independence is important, but so is being a team player to ensure success across the team.
