About the role


The team: The Clinical Director is a leader of the Patient Care team, the team at the heart of day to day patient care.  At Origin, the Patient Care team is supported by all other teams (think of Patient Care being at the heart of what we do) and supports patients through their healing experience at Origin from start to finish. 


The role: Specifically, the Clinical Director is responsible for holistic business leadership of their clinic and partnered with all Clinic Directors in the success of the clinics nationwide.  They lead a team of Physical Therapists, Clinic Coordinators and a Senior Clinic Coordinator.  You must currently be a licensed Physical Therapist.

What you’ll achieve 



The Clinical Director is responsible for leading the clinic by:

  • Performing the tasks associated with the duties and responsibilities of a Physical Therapist
  • Proactively managing the business resulting in a profitable P&L
  • Supporting the recruitment, interviewing, and  hiring of Physical Therapists and Clinic Coordinators
  • Working collaboratively with Physical Therapists and Clinic Coordinators to optimize scheduling availability on behalf of patients and the P&L
  • Mentorship, development, and performance management of direct reports
  • Working collaboratively with the People Operations team to be a voice for the team, partner on challenges and suggest solutions to create a team environment aligned with our values
  • Balancing investment of labor (Physical Therapist and Clinic Coordinator) with patient care, staffing for demand, utilization
  • Supporting an in-clinic culture of pride in high performance, outcomes for patients, high-quality care, and care delivery
  • Resolving patient issues at the clinic level
  • Informing / managing upward to escalate issues, be a voice for local team
  • Working side by side with Regional Operations Managers and the Director of Care Delivery Operations to ensure day-to-day administrative responsibilities are performed accurately and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations
  • Developing a pipeline of future leadership (Physical Therapists and Clinic Coordinators)
  • Other tasks as assigned

The pay range for this role is:

85,000.00 - 125,000.00 USD per year (Austin)


The pay range for this role is:

85,000 - 125,000 USD per year (South Austin)
