Job Summary

The Stewardship Coordinator plays a vital role in strengthening donor and member relationships by leading stewardship, engagement, and impact reporting efforts. This position is responsible for coordinating the production of donor reports, testimonials, and personalized communications to showcase the value of donor and member contributions. Working closely with program staff, the fundraising team, and marketing, this position gathers and analyzes donor engagement data, maintains accurate records in the CRM system, and generates insightful reports to support development efforts. Additionally, they assist in the planning and execution of donor stewardship events, fundraising initiatives, and recognition programs to enhance donor/member engagement and retention. This role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and a passion for donor relations and impact storytelling! The position will report to the Manager of Development Operations & Events.

Responsibilities

Reporting  & Research (70%)

  • Coordinate the production of mid-year impact reports, the Annual Report, testimonials, and personalized donor/member communications to communicate the value of donor/member contributions.
  • Collaborate with program staff to gather stories, data, and visuals to highlight donor/member impact.
  • Helps provide information for grant stewardship efforts, including funder reports and acknowledgment materials.
  • Maintain accurate donor records in CRM system
  • Generate stewardship reports and analyze donor engagement trends.
  • Work closely with the fundraising team to provide donor portfolio reports and donor/prospect profiles for officer visits, calls, events, and meetings.
  • Generates prospect and donor profiles for development officers. 

 Stewardship & Engagement (30%)

  • Implement a comprehensive annual donor/member stewardship plan to ensure timely and meaningful engagement.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing and Creative Services teams when creating event invitations, donor-facing impact reports, etc. 
  • Works with Membership & Annual Giving Manager to create and execute Annual Giving Campaigns (e.g., Giving Tuesday)
  • Assist in planning and executing donor/member stewardship and cultivation  events, site visits, and special recognition programs.
  • Assist with day-of execution of annual fundraising events (e.g. annual gala)

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in donor relations, event management, fundraising, or nonprofit communications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in donor databases (Tessitura preferred), Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite.
  • Experience with event planning and project coordination is a plus.
  • Passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to donor engagement.
  • Must be able to work occasional late nights and weekends
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs

Working Conditions and Schedule

  • This is an on-site role with the possibility of flexibility for working some days at an alternative work location. Flexibility will vary depending on the needs of the job.
  • Working occasional evenings and weekends will be required.

The pay range for this role is:

28 - 32 USD per hour (The Tech Interactive)
