About the role


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Post Production Coordinator to join our post production team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the logistics and workflows involved in the post-production process, from capture to final delivery. You will work closely with editors, producers, assistants, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. What you'll do

  • Coordinate all phases of the post-production workflow for motion pictures, television series and specials
  • Track the Production and Post Production schedules across multiple projects updating all project stakeholders. Forecast potential issues 
  • Track media assets, file naming conventions, and metadata to ensure proper organization version control and distribution
  • Liaise between production teams, editors, VFX, sound, and network stakeholders
  • Create and maintain post-production schedules, calendars, and reports
  • Manage delivery of assets to networks, streamers, or other distribution platforms according to specifications
  • Monitor post-production budgets and assist with invoice processing and cost tracking
  • Ensure quality control of final deliverables and flag any technical issues
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codecs, and post workflows
  • Organize and archive project files, media, and documents in accordance with company protocols


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in post-production coordination, preferably in television
  • Strong understanding of post workflows, file formats, codecs, and delivery specifications
  • Familiarity with editing software (Avid, Adobe Premiere), media management tools, and cloud-based platforms (e.g. Frame.io, QTake, Aspera, S3)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting deadlines
  • Ability to travel as required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience coordinating both union and non-union post-production teams, including international crews, with an understanding of varying labor regulations, time zones, and communication protocols
  • Familiarity with a wide range of content formats including motion picture, as well as scripted and unscripted television, with the ability to adapt workflows to meet the specific needs of each
  • Strong working knowledge of end-to-end Production and Post Production processes, including editorial, VFX, color grading, and sound finishing. A solid understanding of how these elements interact to form a cohesive pipeline is essential
  • Experience navigating the technical and creative nuances of VFX workflows, managing asset tracking, shot deliveries, and integration with editorial timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver content in accordance with major studio and streaming platform specifications, including but not limited to Amazon, Netflix, Lionsgate, and other global distribution partners. This includes a clear understanding of delivery requirements, file formats, metadata, and QC processes


Salary & Benefits:

💰 Salary Range: $70k - $90k
