About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join a high performing product team where you will create and manage the project plan to take a new product to market including working with members of every department and team to ensure clarity and transparency along the way. Essentially, you will coordinate all aspects of our go to market plan, keeping everyone informed and aligned, while also managing distinct projects of your own along the way. You’ll also further your knowledge about the entertainment business at large. As an early member of the team, you will be up close and personal with all aspects of planning, launching, and scaling this business.

This is a position for a project manager who has managed the go to market plan for consumer digital products, ideally in the entertainment industry.

Day-to-Day:

• Planning projects and creating project schedules
• Assigning tasks to team members and monitoring progress
• Communicating with stakeholders as input to planning, with progress reports, and with escalations
• Identifying and communicating risks, addressing issues
• Reporting on projects’ status
• Ensuring projects stay within budget and timeline
• Problem solving all kinds of project challenges
• Supporting all teams as needed with logistical and coordination support in service of the go to market plan
• Be the expert and go-to person for all questions on timelines, dependencies, and project status

What You Bring to the Table:

• 3+ years of project management experience
• 2+ years experience in the app, web, entertainment, and/or customer experience space
• Experience managing internal and external pre-launch testing or customer betas a plus
• Managed projects across multiple cross functional teams
• A sense of urgency
• You are an amazing communicator and are very comfortable with uncomfortable conversations
• Respect for and understanding of the The Wonder Project audience
• Strong history of deep collaboration, communication, and relationship building company-wide at all levels from engineering teams to leadership to key partners
• Self-sufficient with minimal oversight, but not afraid to ask questions
• History of generating positive, productive work environments
• Impeccable personal and business ethics
• No visa sponsorship required

Salary & Benefits:

Salary Range: 6-12 month contract - 40 hrs/week - $7,500 - 10,000/month
