About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic VP of Production, Series to lead the planning, execution, and post-production of all episodic content across our scripted and unscripted slate. Reporting to the Head of Series, this executive will champion both creative alignment and operational discipline, ensuring our shows are executed with excellence, efficiency, and innovation. 

Reports to: Head of Series

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the creative lead to design production strategies that align with creative goals and budget realities.
  • Work directly with the creative lead on slate planning, schedule, and feasibility.
  • Have direct responsibility for physical and post-production for all scripted and unscripted series, managing budgets, schedules, and staffing plans.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across production, finance, legal, and business affairs.
  • Work closely with post teams to ensure timely delivery, maintain editorial integrity, and manage finishing pipelines.
  • Implement best-in-class production systems, processes, and tools to ensure operational rigor, including optimizing tax incentives and efficiencies, sort monies, etc. 
  • Lead financial tracking and cost reporting in partnership with production finance.
  • Constantly evaluate workflows and recommend process improvements or technology that enhances execution.
  • Ensure compliance with labor guidelines, legal policies, and internal standards.
  • Support the scaling of our production infrastructure by identifying and optimizing best-in-class third party provides for scripted and unscripted series as our slate grows in size and complexity.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in episodic production, with experience across both physical and post-production.
  • Strong record of managing complex, multi-episode productions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in production tools like Movie Magic, Google Suite, Scenechronize, and cost tracking systems.
  • Clear understanding of union/guild requirements, international production, and network delivery specs.
  • Operationally rigorous, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Collaborative, calm under pressure, and energized by building efficient, scalable systems.
  • A love for storytelling and a passion for excellence in execution.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: $120k-$190k + Bonus & equity
