Lead a team of design manager, UI/UX designers, and UX researcher.
Expertise in managing the entire design lifecycle from strategic planning right through to implementation.
Be a high impact leader overseeing the ideation and conceptualization of new ideas derived from user, business, and brand needs.
Evangelize UX best practices cross-functionally, including deep collaboration with product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, legal and data teams.
Drive change through data driven design and establish UX metrics that inform acquisition, activation, and retention of the platform.
Effectively and frequently communicate and present design driven solutions for renter and landlord problems across the organization, specifically senior management and leadership.
Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX design and real estate technology, and apply these insights to improve our platform and mature the design system.
Oversee resources and budget for the design and research teams, ensuring timely and effective project delivery.
Offer thought leadership in design and user experience strategy, with a focus on prop-tech and real estate market trends.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with significant experience leading mature design teams in a tech environment.
Experience managing or collaborating closely with user research professionals.
Strong portfolio showcasing skills in UI/UX design, great user-centered design solutions, creative strategy, mature design systems, and user research methodologies.
Proficiency in design and research tools (e.g., Figma, UserTesting, FullStory, PowerBI, Hubspot, Dovetail etc).
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and team management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup/scale-up environment.
Demonstrated capability in leading design projects from start to finish.

Competitive salary
Base Salary
The base salary range is between $180,000 - $200,000 annually.
Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
