Event Marketing Coordinator (Short-Term Contract)

We’re seeking a proactive and organized Event Marketing Coordinator to join our team on a short-term contract basis through July 2025. Please note: this is a temporary contractor role, not a full-time or benefits-eligible position. Candidates must be based in New York City to support on-site event logistics and coordination.


This role will assist the Event Marketing team with planning and executing a wide range of experiences—from trade shows and industry events to private dinners, brand collaborations, and after parties. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can manage multiple priorities, work independently, and bring strong operational and communication skills to the table.

  • Support the Event Marketing team in executing various event formats, including brand collaborations, trade shows, after parties, and client dinners
  • Keep projects on track by completing and managing assigned tasks in a timely and detail-oriented manner
  • Source and coordinate with vendors, venues, and partners for event execution, including gifting, production, and logistics
  • Manage event-related shipping and office logistics, including packing and tracking materials
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors (e.g. print shops, third-party agencies, venue reps, etc.)
  • Maintain and update planning documents such as timelines, event calendars, recaps, vendor lists, overviews, and invitations

Preferred experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, production, or planning
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Experience in a fast-paced, creative, or dynamic environment preferred
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
  • Enthusiastic about creating high-quality client and guest experiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Canva experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift, pack, and move event materials as needed

Compensation:

$30-$55 per hour depending upon experience.
