As a Technical Lead for TST (Thrive for Support Teams), you will lead one of our teams to deliver the Thrive experience to our Contact Centers users. You will partner closely with Product, Design, Customer Success and other stakeholders within Thrive and our 3rd party platform partners to deliver on the goal of bringing the Thrive experience close to our users, in their flow of work and maximizing the opportunities of each platform. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring the engineers on the team: their success will be your success!

How You'll Contribute:

  • Lead the team building services & UI that implement new business features or improve existing functionality
  • Cultivating a high performing team, delivering technical feedback and excitement for a small, autonomous team of engineers. In this role you will be managing people and be directly responsible for their success!
  • Take responsibility for planning, execution and success of complex projects
  • Take part in technical & peer reviews, collaborative design sessions, production issue troubleshooting, business requirement gathering and other organizational processes.
  • Partnering with product, design, and data peers to create the team’s technical roadmap and be the voice of engineering as a part of the team’s leadership
  • Working with external partners and deep-diving into the integration platform to bring the best Thrive experience to users
  • Working closely with platform teams to own, operate (build, deploy, monitor) and troubleshoot production software systems
  • Helping develop and streamline our operational and engineering support systems and workflows


Must Haves:

  • Several years experience leading & growing Product teams, preferably in a startup environment
  • Passion for working and leading people & technology, inspiring them to perform at their best.
  • 5 or more years of software engineering experience; Production development experience in Kotlin, Java, or Scala, B2C platform or service experience is a plus
  • Experience building, running, and debugging scalable and reliable microservice-based applications
  • Strong understanding of systems design and its impact on application architecture

Compensation for this role depends on level, and will likely fall in the $120,000-210,000 range. We provide a competitive mix of salary, performance bonus, and equity.
