Audius is a community-owned music marketplace that empowers artists, songwriters, and rights holders with an unprecedented level of access to, control of, and ability to monetize their relationships with fans. It achieves this by being open-source, fully decentralized, and built on blockchain & cryptographic fundamentals. This enables Audius to facilitate direct relationships between users, provide transparent access to and control over data, and offer the freedom to create custom experiences and monetization models. It is unlike any existing digital music platform today.
Backed by an all-star team of investors, Audius was founded in 2018 and serves over 5 million users every month, making it one of the largest non-financial crypto applications ever built.
Our Company
TikiLabs, Inc. is a core contributor to the Audius mission & protocol. We are a 30-person team of entrepreneurs, engineers, music industry professionals, and blockchain experts. What you'll do here
- Build and ship the next generation of music streaming features across web, mobile, and desktop platforms
- Work closely with Product and Design to craft engaging, pixel-perfect experiences for artists and listeners
- Own features end-to-end through design handoff, development, testing and deployment in a full-stack manner
We would love to chat if you have
- Extensive experience shipping significant user-facing features from start to finish
- Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, code fluency, etc.)
- Expertise with modern ES6+ Javascript (Typescript is a plus)
- Experience with React and proficiency in HTML + CSS
- Solid conceptual understanding of full stack software development including system architecture, web serving infrastructure, and database design
- Foundational understanding of blockchains and cryptography. Smart contract programming experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control and agile software development methodologies
- Experience working with product designers and meeting complex customer requirements

Additional Information: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$190,000 + equity & benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role & level.
