About the role
You are expected to possess excellent software development life cycle knowledge and excellent communication skills in both verbal and written to liaise with stakeholders. Documentation skills would be an advantage but not mandatory.
What you'll do
Requirements Gathering:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to identify business needs.
Analysis and Documentation:
• Create clear and concise documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), and user stories.
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers.
• Manage and communicate changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Solution Evaluation:
• Collaborate with technical teams to assess the feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Support the design, development, and implementation of solutions by providing business context and insights.
Testing and Validation:
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Validate implemented solutions against the documented requirements.
Project Support:
• Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Provide ongoing support for deployed solutions, including troubleshooting and refinement.
Technical attributes:
- 4+ year of experience working in similar position
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks.
- High-intermediate to advanced level in English (Written & Verbal)
Additional attribute (Preferred not required):
- Working experience in ERP type systems, Accounting or Retail POS systems etc.
- Experience with workflow based systems
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) is advantageous
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
