As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Tive, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, as well as the entire development process. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify, report, and resolve defects. This role involves designing and implementing test plans, creating automated test scripts, and continuously improving our QA processes.


Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance.

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Proficiency in using tools such as Cypress, ReadyAPI, TestRail, and Jira.

  • Excellent ability to identify risks, issues, and potential defects in all aspects of the software and hardware stack

  • Familiarity with multi-tier web applications using frameworks such as ASP.NET Core and Angular

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of automated build systems (CI/CD) such as TeamCity.

  • Experience working with Customer Support teams to troubleshoot and recreate customer issues.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various products.

  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our applications.

  • Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira.

  • Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and suggest improvements to enhance overall product quality.

  • Continuously research and implement best practices in software quality assurance and testing.
