The Learning Lamp has been lighting the way to a brighter future for nearly 20 years in our region. Initially started with the mission to provide access to high quality tutoring without the high price tag, our organization has grown, minimizing education and care disparities for children through child care, tutoring, and more. We are an integral part of the community, providing much needed support for families, schools, and children.

The Learning Lamp is hiring a Digital Media Intern for Summer 2026.

What are the hours like?

• Hours are generally Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

• Pay Range: $10 per hour
• Holidays we are closed/you are off include: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

What are the duties and responsibilities?

• Photograph Summer Camps and Best Day Ever! lesson plans
• Create video content at summer camp sites
• Edit lesson plan photos and integrate them into lesson plans
• Build and maintain photo/video library for Best Day Ever! and summer camps
• Assist with creating layouts and illustrations for lesson plan activity pages and/or cover pages
• Assist with creating social media content for Best Day Ever!

What are the required qualifications?

• Enrolled in Digital Media, Photography, Art, or similar concentration; and
• Computer skills, including Adobe Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel.
