About the role

The primary responsibility of the Public Areas Attendant  will be to maintain the cleanliness of all guest facing areas of the hotel. The Public Areas Attendant will tend to guest requests, keep guest amenities clean and stocked, tend to elevators, event spaces, hallways, and parking lots. This role will support the housekeeping team with ensuring rooms are cleaned by check in. 

What you'll do

  • Support Housekeeping team with any assigned task

  • Clean, stock and sanitize the public restrooms

  • Clean hallways, rails, doors and stairs throughout the entire property

  • Polish elevators to remove smudges and dirt. 

  • Clean floors and deck brush concrete when needed

  • Sweep and mop event spaces

  • clean windows throughout hotel & restaurant

  • Ensure pool area is clean and towels are stocked

  • Remove dirty linen/towels from pool area

  • Assist in preparation and clean up of all event spaces.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry preferred

  • Must be team player

  • The ability to multitask

  • The ability to work independently and follow direction 

  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Must exhibit good judgment while performing under pressure.

  • Must be dedicated to our goal of providing superior guest experiences.

  • Must be able to navigate the use of technology for communication and timekeeping

The pay range for this role is:

19 - 19 USD per hour (Drift Palm Springs)
