About the role
Guest Experience Hosts (GEH) are often the first impression of the hotel. They welcome guests warmly into our spaces and ensure our guests get exactly what they need - be it help with check in, tips on city attractions, dining reservations, help with luggage and getting to their desired locations. Our GEHs are well-rounded and willing to jump in to help any of our teams meet and exceed guest expectations.
What you'll do
- Anticipate guests’ needs and responds quickly & professionally to all guest requests
- Provide information on resort amenities and facilities
- Monitors traffic flow and guest queues within public areas, directing guests as appropriate
- Assists in Guest Pre-Checkin, Check-in and Check-out process
- Responds promptly to Emergency situations and alerts Management when needed
- Must be tech savvy, adhering to the process of communicating promptly with the remote sales team and management via Work Chat in regard to Guest requests/issues. Addresses guest complaints while maintaining professional dialogue with guests and finding resolutions to satisfaction.
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel features/services, activities, and events.
- Be able to communicate effectively with guest and provide exceptional customer service
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time during your shift.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
- Coordinate with and support other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with special projects or events as needed
- Qualifications
- Strong public speaking and communication skills
- Experience in food service, theater, or hospitality is desirable
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of reservation systems and basic office software
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
