We’re looking for a warm, energetic, and hospitality-driven Guest Experience Host to be the face of our boutique hotel. This role is all about creating memorable experiences for our guests—from a seamless check-in to expertly serving coffee, craft cocktails, and local beers in our hotel café. You’ll assist with guest requests, sell curated market items, and engage with both travelers and locals, ensuring everyone feels at home. About the role

The Guest Experience Host is responsible for the overall guest arrival experience while also performing a variety of Front Desk, Concierge and F&B duties to meet daily business needs positively impacting the overall guest experience. The Guest Experience Ambassador is key to recognizing and communicating opportunities to enhance the guest experience.

What you'll do

• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond quickly & professionally to all guest requests.
• Provide information on property amenities and facilities
• Communicate and proactively recognize guest’s special occasions and celebratory events through creative amenities, notes, and hospitality gestures that enhance the guest experience
• Monitors traffic flow and guest queues within public area; directing guests as appropriate
• Assists in Guest Pre-Checkin and Check-in process
• Facilitates lobby safety, cleanliness, and security
• Responds promptly to Emergency situations and alerts Management when needed
• Bartending simple draft cocktails, coffees & beer
• Monitors public area restrooms as needed
• Inspects rooms as needed
• Must be tech savvy, adhering to the process of communicating promptly with the Remote sales team and management via Work Chat in regards to Guest requests/issues. guest complaints while maintaining professional dialogue with guests and finding resolutions to satisfaction.
• Maintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel features/services, activities, and events.
• Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials, workspaces and equipment are in complete readiness for service.
• Be able to communicate effectively with guest and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of work areas.
• Stocking and sale of retail items accurately within POS system
• Perform F&B sidework duties as necessary (roll ups, polishing, table maintenance, etc)
• Assist with monthly inventory (organization and counts)

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a guest service role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of Nashville City Attractions
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Multitask and prioritize as necessary to meet customer needs
• Bartending experience preferred, but not required
