About the Team

We’re currently seeking a Director of Sales Operations for our sales team. The Sales Team consists of Regional Business Development Managers, Specification Advisors, Project Advisors, and Project Estimators, working together to estimate, coordinate, and process large and complex projects.

 

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented Director of Sales Operations to lead improvements across our sales process and the systems that support it. This role is critical to helping us scale—removing friction, increasing efficiency, and ultimately allowing our sales team to focus on what they do best: selling.

You’ll be responsible for optimizing the full sales lifecycle, ensuring alignment of people, tools, and workflows. You'll also oversee how resources are allocated and be responsible for revenue, ensuring we grow in a disciplined, sustainable way.

What You Will Do

  • Improve and standardize sales operations processes from quote to order
  • Identify and remove inefficiencies that slow down our teams or confuse customers
  • Implement systems and reporting to support better decision-making and forecasting
  • Bring clarity, consistency, and accountability to key workflows
  • Support revenue growth while improving the customer and employee experience
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve annual revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate revenue forecasts and analyze conversion metrics
  • Drive adoption of automation and AI to streamline sales tasks—such as quote generation, follow-ups, order entry, and CRM updates—ensuring we fully leverage our CRM tools for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop sales training programs to improve close rates and customer engagement

 

What You Will Need

  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in B2B sales
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue operations in fast-paced dynamic environments
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles and workflows
  • Advanced proficiency in revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and delivering actionable insights through data and analytics
  • Sales strategy and planning experience including TAM assessment, segmentation, sales capacity modeling, territory design and quota setting
  • Proven success managing teams across multiple locations or states
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Expertise in CRM optimization and process automation. Experience utilizing AI is a big plus
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to operational excellence.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on tenure, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required sit for extended periods, and to use a computer. Work may require the individual to enter plant areas where performance factors such as heat, noise, dust, lifting of materials, and working around equipment will be encountered.

The pay range for this role is:

125,000 - 175,000 USD per year (All Locations)
