TPH Academy in Austin, Texas is seeking a responsible and organized Substitute Academic Success Coach to provide academic supervision and support to student-athletes in the absence of the Director. The role includes overseeing independent study, ensuring academic accountability, and maintaining a structured learning environment. This is an as needed position for the 2025-2026 academic year. 

The substitute will coach student-athletes directly in academic areas and mentor them in the process of becoming more confident, self-directed learners while meeting their academic goals. 

Education, Experience and Skills Required

• Experience in education and/or in academic supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively and teach/coach others
• Comfortable working with middle and high school students in a structured yet flexible setting

Pay for this substitute position is $17-20 per hour based on experience.  The selected candidate will be required to complete all prerequisites for employment, including those required by USA Hockey, or any other governing body, including but not limited to background screening, SafeSport training, and other mandatory training courses.
