About the Role

As a Sales Associate at Treehouse, you won’t just sell products—you’ll be part of a transformative journey to electrify homes. You'll have the chance to build customer trust, shape our sales strategies, and contribute to the success of a fast-growing startup redefining the home electrification experience.


Responsibilities

The Sales Associate will: 

  • Engage with prospective customers, converting warm inquiries into sales through phone and other communication channels.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of home electrification and our streamlined installation process, simplifying technical concepts to meet their needs.
  • Drive results by meeting and exceeding sales targets through a consultative, solution-oriented approach that positions Treehouse as a trusted expert and industry leader.
  • Partner with internal teams like Install Success to refine the sales process and ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and refine processes as one of the earliest members of the Sales team.


Minimum Qualifications

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • A Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of degree, four years relevant work experience
  • Experience working with a CRM and related tooling, and a willingness to learn new tools


Preferred Qualifications

Additionally, candidates may demonstrate:

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a consumer sales function
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into relatable terms
  • Goal-driven, self-starter mindset with a passion for driving results
  • A passion for electrification and/or energy sustainability
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-past, early-stage company environment


This role is based in Chicago. The expected on-target earnings range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000, including base salary, equity, and commission. This is a good faith estimate of what Treehouse may pay for a new hire; actual pay may vary based on prevailing wages in geographic location and a candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required job qualifications.
