Project Management Associate

About Treehouse

Treehouse is a software-enabled installation platform for electrification projects. Our mission is to accelerate the decarbonization of the places we live and work by simplifying the electrification journey. By operating as a centralized, end-to-end partner, Treehouse helps companies scale electrification programs nationwide and deliver seamless, delightful installation experiences for customers.

About the Role

Treehouse is looking for a Project Management Associate to help deliver exceptional electrification projects and build the systems that enable them. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that residential projects are delivered with precision, quality, and coordination across stakeholders. This includes supporting homeowners and trade partners, resolving project escalations, and collaborating with utilities to ensure local compliance.

In addition to day-to-day project support, you’ll also take ownership of internal projects that improve how we work—creating repeatable processes and tooling that reduce complexity and increase efficiency. This is an ideal role for those that thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a bias for action and enjoy problem-solving in dynamic environments, who are comfortable wearing multiple hats, and who want to help shape how electrification gets done at scale.

Responsibilities

The Project Management Associate will:

  • Coordinate the execution of residential electrification projects, ensuring all milestones—from permitting to inspections—are completed with quality and care.
  • Support homeowners, contractors, and utility stakeholders by managing requests, resolving roadblocks, and delivering timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Own and lead improvement projects that enhance how we deliver—such as reducing time to resolve escalations, increasing automation, or optimizing handoffs between teams.
  • Collaborate with field experts, operations leads, and offshore teammates to enable faster, more reliable project fulfillment at scale.
  • Identify recurring issues in project delivery and help drive structural solutions that improve customer outcomes and internal efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and iteration of standard operating procedures to ensure team workflows remain aligned, documented, and scalable.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful Project Management Associate candidates will demonstrate:

  • Two or more years of relevant experience in project or program management.
  • Experience coordinating project tasks across stakeholders, resolving roadblocks, and improving delivery workflows.
  • Experience using operational tools and software to improve team efficiency and responsiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

Additionally, successful Project Management Associate candidates may demonstrate:

  • Two or more years of academic or professional experience in engineering, construction management, or trade operations.
  • Ability to balance day-to-day execution with long-term thinking, and to deliver small internal projects that improve how work gets done.
  • A background in service delivery, residential construction, or clean energy and/or a passion for electrification and/or energy sustainability.
  • Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally in fast-paced settings and a passion for operational excellence and scaling impact through better systems.
  • Experience working with offshore teams or distributed workforces.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, plus equity. This is a good faith estimate of what Treehouse may pay for a new hire; actual pay may vary based on prevailing wages in geographic location and a candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required job qualifications.
