Cost Segregation Engineer


About the role

Cost Segregation Engineer, you will work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment alongside a dynamic team of experienced cost segregation professionals, CPAs, and industry leaders. You will be responsible for performing cost segregation analysis—doing site visits, analyzing architectural drawings, build component asset schedules, determining asset tax treatments, calculating depreciation, and preparing cost segregation reports. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Manage multiple engagements/projects. 
  • Communicate project status with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Analyze information and appropriately identify technical issues. 
  • Present the report and findings to clientele. 
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality. 
  • Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations. 
  • Conduct site visits to clients and subject property inspections. 

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Experience related to construction duties such as estimating is preferred. 
  • Exposure to the federal rules and regulations governing tax depreciation preferred.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% 
  • Located in the USA only.

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree required, with an emphasis in construction management, engineering, accounting, or a related field.  
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office softwares 


The pay range for this role is:

60,000 - 70,000 USD per year (Remote)
