About the role
- The Brand Strategy team works directly with our clients to build and elevate their brand identities. We're looking for a self-starting, branding-savvy graphic designer who thrives on turning strategy into stunning visuals. You’ll be responsible for building comprehensive visual identities—logos, brand systems, and brand guidelines—from concept through execution. You'll collaborate heavily with internal teams and clients to translate ideas, insights, and discovery findings into design systems that are not only beautiful but also deeply aligned with the brand's purpose and voice.
- You’ll also ensure these brand identities translate seamlessly into the real world—designing and preparing collateral like business cards, folders, signage, and print materials that reinforce the brand across every touchpoint.
- Additionally, you’ll have the chance to contribute to brainstorming sessions, providing feedback on design concepts, and participate in the development of new brand strategy offerings.
- You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Think strategically and design intentionally.
- Love crafting logos and brand systems that tell a story.
- Are energized by discovery conversations and client collaboration.
- Can take feedback, think critically, and evolve your work quickly.
- Find joy in making the complex feel clear and beautiful.
What you'll do
- Design logos, visual systems, and brand standards, including typography, color palettes, iconography, layout systems, and usage guidelines.
- Synthesize complex input (client interviews, strategy documents, competitive research) into clean, thoughtful design directions.
- Participate in and lead brand discovery sessions to uncover key insights, themes, and brand attributes with clients.
- Lead visual identity design projects from initial discovery and concepting to final delivery of brand assets and guidelines.
- Create and maintain brand guidelines that ensure consistency across all applications—digital and print.
- Design branded collateral and prepare print-ready files such as business cards, presentation folders, stationery, signage, etc.
- Create and present brand decks and creative concepts to clients and internal teams with clarity and confidence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with strategists, writers, and developers to ensure cohesive brand execution.
- Stay current on design trends, tools, and technologies, bringing a fresh perspective to each project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or related fine arts field.
- 2–5 years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio of brand identity and print collateral work.
- Strong understanding of brand systems, design scalability, and usage consistency.
- Passion and proficiency in logo design, typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects including print and digital applications (link to portfolio must be included on resume)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience preparing and delivering files for a variety of print formats (CMYK, Pantone, dielines, bleeds, trims, folds).
- Familiarity with different printing techniques, materials, and finishes (e.g., foil, embossing, spot UV).
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills. Can confidently present and explain design decisions to clients and teammates.
- Strong time management and organizational skills. Can juggle multiple deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Self-starter with a bias toward action; comfortable working independently and proactively.
