About the role

  • Triad is seeking a Web Designer/Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performing websites that support our financial planning clients and their audiences. This role blends creative design with technical expertise, requiring a professional who can deliver visually compelling and functionally robust digital experiences. The ideal candidate will be comfortable designing websites from concept to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining ongoing website performance, security, and brand consistency. Success in this position means producing responsive, user-friendly websites that reinforce brand standards, engage users, and help clients achieve business objectives.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites using Figma, WordPress, and Elementor, ensuring responsive, user-friendly, and secure performance across devices
  • Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that align with brand standards and client objectives
  • Develop and maintain websites using WordPress, Elementor, and custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP)
  • Create custom graphics and digital assets optimized for web and mobile platforms
  • Translate project requirements into cohesive user experiences with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and performance
  • Contribute innovative ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions for digital campaigns and initiatives
  • Support team members by collaborating across roles, sharing best practices, and ensuring deadlines are met with high quality
  • Confidently present and pitch digital concepts to internal teams and clients
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, delivering solutions, and identifying new digital opportunities.
  • Ensure all digital brand identities remain consistent, cohesive, and compliant with standards in the financial advisory space
  • Collaborate with design, copy, web development, brand, and communication teams to deliver on web project requirements
  • Regularly conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites to identify and fix any issues related to functionality, performance or compatibility

Qualifications

  • Experience with responsive web design and development
  • Must have proficiency with WordPress and Elementor, or similar content management systems and page building tools
  • Must have experience with Figma or similar interface design tools
  • Proficiency in front-end web development programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that lead to accurate understanding of project requirements and timelines
  • Experience supporting and managing hosting infrastructure across multiple providers, including server configuration, DNS management, migrations, backups, and ongoing maintenance to ensure reliability and performance
  • Portfolio showcasing experience in designing websites

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in the financial industry, specifically the FMO space
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Understanding of search engine optimization principles
  • Knowledge of Google data suite (Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CRMs and ESPs
