Job Summary

As a Salesforce / Hybrid Mobile Developer you will serve as a core member of our development team.  You'll be responsible for all types of standard Salesforce Development and customization as well as developing a hybrid mobile application with a Salesforce backend. This includes coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating and modifying existing applications. You will partner with a team of Architects and Salesforce Consultants to develop and deliver high-quality solutions for our customers. While you will receive direction and support from senior team members and supervisors, you will also draw upon your own experience and judgment to plan work, solve problems, and meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write clean, concise, well-crafted code and tests.
  • Build Integrations with other systems, including SAAS applications from other vendors using REST APIs, Bulk APIs, and Metadata APIs.
  • Participate in the planning, analysis, and refinement of business requirements for system enhancements and new functionality.
  • Develop, test, and document custom solutions, integrations with external systems, and data migration components within a Salesforce implementation.
  • Deliver assigned development tasks within the established timelines.
  • Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce platform.
  • Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
  • Provide support and guidance to associate developers.
  • Assist with code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to project technical design and documentation.
  • Assist in estimating level of effort for proposed solutions.
  • Attain and maintain Salesforce certifications.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation efforts.
  • Complete annual professional development goals and required training.
  • Take direction from supervisor and project tech lead.
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with team members.
  • Ability and willingness to give and receive honest, balanced feedback.
  • Participate in company team building and educational activities.
  • Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area.
  • 2+ years of professional Salesforce development experience.
  • 1+ years of professional hybrid mobile app development experience using Ionic, Capacitor, and Angular.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript development.
  • Demonstrated development experience using Apex, triggers, asynchronous jobs, integrations, Lightning Web Components, and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Understanding of the capabilities and constraints of Salesforce.
  • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience creating accessible front-end components using HTML/CSS for use with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Angular required.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based environment.
  • Experience working with source control and continuous integration.
  • Knowledge of modern software development processes and best practices.
  • Experience using GIT, Jira, and other related development tools.
