We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants to be an early member of an exciting and growing product. As a Software Engineer (Frontend Specialization) at triple, you'll work across the entire stack, helping to guide and refine development of our innovative platform. It’s a great opportunity to demonstrate your skills and grow as an engineer.
What we're looking for:
Ability to work 3 days per week in our great Pittsburgh, PA office space in East Liberty.
At least one of the following:
MS in Computer Science (or similar degree) + at least 7 years of hands-on, professional experience.
BS in Computer Science (or similar degree) + at least 8 years of hands-on, professional software development experience.
Completion of a bootcamp (or similar certification) + at least 10 years of hands-on, professional software development experience.
At least 12 years of hands-on, professional software development experience.
At least one of the following:
5 years of experience working in Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
5 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
Familiarity with cloud services for software development and hosting.
Ability to work across frontend, backend, data storage / retrieval, and infrastructure.
Excellent coding habits, including test-driven development, readable code, documentation, defensive coding, planning for efficiency and scale, etc.
Experience developing, monitoring, and supporting a highly-available, cloud-based service.
A plus to have, but not required:
Experience working in a fast-paced, small company environment.
Experience using Amazon Web Services and supporting tools.
Experience with other languages like Python, Java, Go, C#, or C++.
Experience with data intensive applications utilizing SQL / relational databases and NoSQL datastores.
Understanding of test automation suites, including unit, regression, and performance tests.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
