We are seeking a highly skilled NetSuite Accounting Analyst with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience in managing full-cycle AP and AR processes using NetSuite. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions, maintaining up-to-date records, and supporting overall financial health. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Hybrid work - Ability to work 3 days per week in our great Pittsburgh, PA office space in East Liberty and 2 days per week remotely.
  • Manage full-cycle AP processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, vendor management, and reconciliation.
  • Oversee AR processes, including billing, customer invoicing, and preparing/reviewing aging reports to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all AP and AR transactions within NetSuite.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and transaction records regularly for accurate financial reporting.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, providing actionable insights to support strategic decisions in partnership with leadership.
  • Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Participate in budgeting and financial forecasting, offering data-driven recommendations for optimizing financial performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, client, and customer operations) to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes.
  • Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in AP and AR workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards in all bookkeeping activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a bookkeeping or similar role.  Comfortable managing large data sets and complex formulas in Excel. 
  • Proficient in using NetSuite ERP for financial management, with a solid understanding of its features and capabilities.  Experience with Netsuite AWS integrations a strong plus
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent numerical proficiency and familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
