Account Executive II

If you would like to join us, we are looking for an Account Executive II who will be responsible for working alongside our Trust & Will for Professionals Account Executives to book appointments and help to build out a pipeline of prospects.


About You:


We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and experienced individual contributor sales Account Executive to help drive growth by closing key accounts. You will work on B2B deals in the SMB & Mid-Market space with organizations who would like to offer Trust & Will as a subsidized benefit for their teams alongside the support of a Business Development Representative to drive leads for you. 


This role is ideal for a sales professional with a passion for helping others and for driving business in a new vertical in a fast-paced startup environment. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and comfortable working in a remote-first setting while also taking initiative with client-related travel and conferences. This is an individual contributor role and eligible candidates must live in California.


About the Role:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for our West Coast territory to achieve pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Present the company's value proposition to prospective clients, both virtually and in-person, including at industry events with up to 30% travel required.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders to support sales goals, referrals, and renewals.
  • Utilize CRM data and analytics to track and enhance personal sales performance.
  • Collaborate closely with business development representatives, B2B marketing, and other internal teams to build and increase the sales pipeline, ensuring seamless internal coordination and communication.
  • Oversee the sales process from demo to close, managing the pipeline to accurately reflect each stage of the sales cycle.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and accurate sales forecasts to senior management, along with recommendations for resource allocation and improvements.
  • Proactively identify challenges that may hinder or slow our ability to close deals and ideate/develop solutions to improve the sales process.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of professional work experience in sales.
  • Ability to build long-lasting individual relationships with a vast array of external stakeholders.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong public speaking skills with the confidence to address 100+ people at a time (in person or virtually).
  • Ability to become a subject matter expert and a guide on estate planning in a matter of weeks, with  the curiosity to keep learning its intricacies for years to come.
  • Experience and comfort with operating independently with limited oversight.
  • Strong understanding of partner management, sales cycles, and revenue goals.
  • Mission-driven with a passion for helping our members leave their legacy.
  • High level of ownership and accountability.

Bonus Points for: 

  • Experience in working with financial institutions, Financial Advisors, or employee benefits.
  • Experience working in a tech company and/or high-growth startup.
  • Experience selling into skilled labor industries, such as construction, education, healthcare, manufacturing, automotive, energy, or other technical trades.

    • Our OTE range for this position is $128,000 - 150,000, in addition to compensation we also include an employee equity package as a component of our offer along with other benefits and perks outlined below.
