Job Summary: 

Are you a driven and strategic leader ready to spearhead our public sector initiatives in the U.S.? We are seeking a visionary Director of Sales & Business Development to lead our efforts in expanding TrustGrid’s presence within the U.S. federal government. In this role, you will develop and execute impactful sales strategies, forge strong relationships with key government stakeholders, and drive significant revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Design and implement powerful sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals. Identify and capitalize on new opportunities within the U.S. federal sector. 

  • Client Relationship Excellence: Cultivate and maintain deep, long-term relationships with federal government clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges. 

  • Business Expansion: Drive TrustGrid’s growth in the public sector by securing new contracts and partnerships, ensuring our solutions are at the forefront of government technology. 

  • Insight-Driven Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, government policies, and competitor movements. Leverage these insights to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities. 

  • Proposal & Contract Leadership: Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations. Ensure all communications meet federal client standards. 

  • Collaborative Marketing Impact: Collaborate with marketing to enhance TrustGrid’s market presence and drive demand generation through targeted materials and events. 

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with product development, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver tailored solutions that exceed client expectations. 

  • Performance Optimization: Monitor sales activities and performance metrics, using data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions and accurately forecast revenue. 

  • Inspiring Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performing team of sales and business development professionals, fostering a collaborative, success-oriented culture. 

Education & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. 

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 10 years in Sales Director, Business Development Director, or similar roles within the U.S. federal sector. 

  • Government Expertise: Deep understanding of federal procurement processes, contracts, and compliance. 

  • Exceptional Communication: Strong skills in negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building. 

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to analyze market data, solve complex problems, and adapt to changing environments. 

  • Motivated & Independent: Goal-oriented and capable of driving results both independently and as part of a team. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with agencies such as DoD, DHS, or GSA. 

  • Certifications in Sales or Business Development (e.g., MEDDICP). 

  • Insight into the unique challenges and needs of federal clients. 

  • Foundational knowledge of cyber security.
