Chief of Staff

Trustible is a fast-growing, venture-backed startup working with some of the leading Fortune 500s and technology companies in enabling their responsible AI governance. Our AI-powered software platform enables legal/compliance and AI/ML teams to scale their AI Governance strategies to help build trust, manage risk, and comply with regulations.

We believe effective AI governance unlocks innovation rather than constraining it. At Trustible, you’ll help organizations adopt AI safely and at scale while doing work that is necessary, action-oriented, and foundational to the future of AI.

Role Overview

This is the first Chief of Staff hire at Trustible, with the opportunity to have a significant impact on organizational strategy, operations, and cross-functional execution. You will act as a trusted partner to the CEO and co-founder to help drive focus, execution, and alignment across the company. This role is highly execution-oriented, with direct ownership over financial operations, cross-functional initiatives, and company-wide processes critical to scaling Trustible.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, is comfortable navigating ambiguity, and wants broad exposure to company-level decision-making at a growing, mission-driven startup.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Execution
    • Partner with the CEO to define, prioritize, and drive execution against company-level goals and initiatives
    • Track progress on strategic priorities and KPIs, surfacing risks and course-correcting as needed
    • Prepare materials, analysis, and recommendations for key decisions
  • Executive & Operating Rhythm
    • Own the cadence of team meetings, planning sessions, and offsites
    • Drive alignment across teams by clarifying goals, decisions, and follow-ups
    • Lead and support high-impact, cross-functional initiatives (e.g., GTM campaigns, product launches, partnerships, events, etc.)
  • Finance & Business Operations
    • Own financial planning and modeling, including budgets, forecasts, and quarterly reporting
    • Serve as the primary partner to external accounting and finance vendors
    • Manage invoicing, billing, and cash collection to ensure predictable cash flow
  • Special Projects
    • Take ownership of ad hoc projects that require speed, judgment, and discretion.
    • Support GTM in company-wide initiatives such as including field marketing, events, speaking engagements, analyst relations, customer QBRs, and more
    • Step into ambiguous problem spaces and bring structure and outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • You bring 3+ years of professional experience, ideally including 2–5 years in roles such as Chief of Staff, management consulting, strategy & operations, investment banking, or operating roles at high-growth startups
  • You thrive in high-intensity, high-stakes environments and are motivated by real ownership, accountability, and the opportunity to help build a mission-driven company from the inside
  • You demonstrate strong business fundamentals, including quantitative analysis (e.g. core Excel skills), clear and concise written communication, structured problem-solving, understanding of how to use AI effectively, and the ability to manage complex projects end-to-end
  • You show a consistent pattern of growth, whether through increased scope, promotions, expanded responsibility, or a clear commitment to learning and professional development
  • You operate with a high degree of ownership, discretion, and judgment, and can be trusted with sensitive information and critical initiatives
  • You bring an early-stage mindset, balancing scrappiness and hustle with sound judgment, and are comfortable operating without perfect information or fully formed processes

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $120,000–$160,000 (depending on experience, skill level, location, and qualifications assessment during the interviewing process)
  • Equity ownership with upside aligned to company growth
  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible/remote work policy and uncapped PTO policy
  • Professional development stipend and commuter/transport benefits
  • Hybrid work-environment: WFH on Monday and Friday, In-Office on Tuesday-Thursday

Why You'll Love Working at Trustible

You’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team on decisions that materially shape Trustible’s strategy and trajectory, with real ownership and influence rather than just visibility. You’ll join a thoughtful, high-caliber team that values clarity, trust, and execution. Your work will help build foundational infrastructure for how AI is governed at major organizations. This role offers an opportunity to grow faster and take on more responsibility than in most traditional paths.
