Senior Product Manager (AMS) - Remote

Teamworks, the Operating System for Sports™, powers more than 6,500 sports organizations worldwide, including collegiate athletic departments and teams across all major professional leagues. With 400 exceptional employees located in ten different countries, Teamworks’ software solutions drive the operations of the most recognizable sports properties in the world.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own and drive the Athlete Management System (AMS) within our Performance product category. The AMS is a critical solution for elite sports organizations, integrating data, insights, and workflows to optimize athlete care, training, and development.

This role requires a product leader who excels at collaboration and communication, ensuring alignment across engineering, design, customer success, and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating complex product builds, potentially including customer transitions and rebuilds. While experience in data science is beneficial, this role requires strong technical acumen to effectively collaborate with the engineering team.

Game Plan: How You'll Drive Impact:

  • Own the AMS product roadmap, defining the vision, prioritizing initiatives, and delivering high-impact features that serve elite athletes and their organizations.
  • Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
  • Translate complex customer needs into actionable product capabilities, working closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams.
  • Establish clear expectations and alignment across internal teams, ensuring smooth collaboration in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Define and track key product metrics, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative insights to refine the product strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop go-to-market plans, ensuring successful adoption and growth.
  • Drive discovery and user research to deeply understand customer needs and inform product decisions.
  • Navigate product rebuilds and customer transitions, ensuring a seamless experience for users as technology evolves.

Player Profile: What You Bring to the Team:

  • Proven track record in B2B SaaS product management, preferably with experience building complex products.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to set clear expectations and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Technical acumen—while not necessarily an engineer, you should be comfortable working with engineering teams on complex technical solutions.
  • Experience with product rebuilds and customer transitions is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with data science concepts is beneficial but not a core requirement.
  • Deep understanding of elite sports organizations and the challenges of managing athlete data, performance, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize user insights, market data, and business needs into actionable product strategies.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, demonstrating a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Desired Traits:

  • Takes initiative to deliver high-quality products; exhibits strong leadership and control of work process from beginning to end.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and responds well to pressure.
  • Detailed, precise, and thorough.
  • Analytical: delivers fast and carefully thought-out results.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Aligned with our core values: honesty, humility, hard work, commitment, innovation, and exceptionalism.

What Teamworks offers:
