Position Overview

UG Solutions is seeking highly capable female Cultural Support Operators to assist in humanitarian aid operations at designated distribution sites. This role requires individuals who can provide critical support in engaging with local communities—particularly women and children—while ensuring safe, effective, and culturally appropriate aid distribution.

Candidates with medical expertise and Arabic language proficiency will be given strong preference, as these skills are vital in supporting both the health needs of vulnerable populations and effective communication with local communities.




Key Responsibilities

  • Support humanitarian aid distribution efforts at assigned sites, ensuring respectful and culturally sensitive engagement with local populations.
  • Facilitate communication with Arabic-speaking communities, especially women and children, to enhance trust and ensure accurate information sharing.
  • Conduct initial health screenings, provide first aid, and support on-site medical triage as required.
  • Coordinate with medical personnel to escalate cases needing higher-level care.
  • Assist in maintaining orderly, safe, and efficient distribution processes in potentially high-stress environments.
  • Gather and provide cultural insights to the team to improve mission effectiveness and local acceptance.
  • Support community outreach initiatives and contribute to reporting on humanitarian aid activities.


Required Qualifications

  • Female candidates only (due to mission-specific cultural engagement requirements).
  • Prior experience in a role as a USMC Female Engagement Team (FET), U.S. Army Cultural Support Team (CST), USAID Field Officer / Humanitarian Assistance Advisor, Community Engagement or Liaison Officer or a similar position.  
  • Ability to operate effectively in austere and high-tempo environments.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Demonstrated medical training or certification in at least one of the following areas:
    • EMT / Paramedic
    • Physician Assistant (PA)
    • Registered Nurse (RN)
    • Military Medic (68W, 18D, SOCM, or equivalent)
    • Civil Affairs (38G/38A) or Cultural Support Teams (CSTs)
  • Arabic language proficiency (conversational to fluent).
  • Previous deployment or work experience in the Middle East or North Africa (MENA) region.
  • Experience working in humanitarian aid, NGO, or civil-military cooperation contexts.
  • Familiarity with humanitarian distribution site operations, logistics, or crowd management.
  • Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and ability to work within diverse teams.
